Shipping Progress Update

Hi Backers,
We are happy to report that we have started shipping of rewards in the past two weeks. Currently, we have shipped about 20% of the rewards, starting with US region as it was the easiest to set up. We will start shipping other international regions next week and alternate weekly.
As this is our first time undertaking a manufacturing project with so many components, some design and planning were not executed perfectly which lead to the following limitations. We apologize for these shortcomings:
The camera adapter and mini universal adapter have been merged as one adapter.
The carrying case content does not include the pole-clamp as shown in the campaign concept, as we discovered that we need quite a bit of foam volume to support the main arm and the c-clamp. So we will pack the pole clamp and the fixed base separately for Deluxe package.
Due to budget and time constraints, we were not able to produce the laptop tray adapter as planned, so for those of you selected the laptop tray, we will make up for it with the universal tablet adapter, or with the cam-mini universal adapter if you already have the universal tablet adapter selected.

Hi Backers,
Here's the latest on our project. We have received the last corrected part and are currently assembling the Zen Mount mainframe and various adapters. I previously estimated to start shipping the coming week but had discovered a few minor details about packaging and shipping that I need to take care of. Everything looks good to start shipping before the end of the month.

Dear Backers,
Just want to give you an update on the project. We are moving along in the production, working with 5 different manufacturing sources to produce a total of 50+ components to complete the project.

To date, we have received approximately 85% of the parts, however, due to delay from one vendor and a production oversight on one of the parts, we anticipate the shipping date to be pushed back to early June 2018.
Despite these setbacks, we are very happy with the quality of the production and can't wait to assemble, pack and ship the Zen Mounts to you.

Dear Backers,
The parts for Zen Mount are being completed and en route to our office as we speak. We are geared to start assembling the final product in April. Our early May shipping projection still looks solid.
Some bad news: - We decided to make only the matte black version of Zen Mount to reduce complication in production and fulfillment. We apologize to those who ordered silver will be getting black instead.
- The laptop adapter part we sampled is not up to par, with too much lax/vibration. We will have to redesign/retool this part. For those who opted for this adapter, we will ship the rest of the order to you first and make up for this part in about 2 months.

Happy New Year! Dear Backers!
Just want to give you an update on the project. Let's have the bad news first. Although the fit and vibration during operation are already quite satisfactory, we believed that revising a small set of the plastic parts can further enhance fitting and minimize vibration. As a new set of mold will be made, tested, and refined, this will likely push the shipping date further to the beginning of May 2018. It was a difficult decision, but we believe the gain in the quality and reliability of the product should worth the delay in the long run.
On the other fronts, we have been field testing Zen Mount in various applications and the results are very promising. Our mounts maintained adjustability and gripping force through weeks of frequent usage.
